FOOTBALL GAME WITH CHEROKEE:
FORECASTED
TEMPERATURES FOR FRIDAY EVENING FOOTBALL GAME ARE EXPECTED TO REACH THE
20s. ALL MARCHING BAND MEMBERS ARE TO BRING APPROPRIATE COLD
WEATHER CLOTHING (GLOVES, THERMALS, BLACK WOOL HATS, EAR PROTECTION,
THERMAL SOCKS, ETC). IF THE BAND PERFORMS PRE-GAME THEY WILL
IMMEDIATELY CHANGE OUT OF THEIR UNIFORMS AND INTO STREET
CLOTHING. ALL BAND MEMBERS WILL ALSO BE ISSUED BAND RAINCOATS TO
WEAR OVER THEIR STREET CLOTHES. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE
COLD, PLEASE PREPARE ACCORDINGLY.
Football Game - The Southern Regional Football team will
be playing at Cherokee HS in the Second Round of the NJSIAA Group
IV South playoffs on Friday November 21st. Any parents who are
available to help load the trailer at 3:30PM, or unload the trailer at
Cherokee it would be greatly appreciated.

Indoor
Drumline and Color Guard: The
Indoor Drumline and Color Guard will be performing in the Tournament of
Bands Indoor Association better known as TIA. As the schedule is
put together it will be posted on the Indoor webpage.
Chinese
Auction: The Chinese Auction drop-off site is now open.

Marching Band Spring Trip: This year's Marching Band Spring Trip will be to
Williamsburg, VA. from April 3-6, 2009. Cost of the trip will be
$650.00 per band member. The interest and commitment form
must be completed and returned to the Marching Band lock box by
December 1st.

Cavalcade
of Band Championships: On Saturday, November 8, 2008 the
Golden Rams Marching Band competed in the Cavalcade of Bands Liberty
Conference Open Championships. The band entered the competition
ranked 7th. At the championships, the band finished in 6th place
receiving a score of 91.80. The Golden Rams Marching
Band would like to congratulate the Warwick HS band for their 1st place
finish. The championships conclude the 2008 competitive marching
band season. Congratulations to Mr. Wright for completing his
first season as Director of the Golden Rams. Thanks to Mr. Wright
and the rest of the marching band staff for a successful
season. Special thanks goes out to the Seniors and their parents.
Hatboro
Horsham Competition: The Golden
Rams Marching Band performed in exhibition at
the Hatboro Horsham HS Cavalcade of Bands competition on Saturday
November 1st.. They received a score of 91.90.
Delsea
Regional Competition: The Golden
Rams Marching Band finished in second place at the
Delsea Regional HS Cavalcade of Bands competition on Saturday
October 18th receiving a score of 87.8. This was the bands
highest score in the competition season. They also received the
award for High Percussion and High Guard.
Woodbury
Competition: Congratulations
to the Golden Rams Marching Band
for their first place finish at the Woodbury HS Cavalcade
of Bands competition on Saturday October 11th. The band
received a score of 87.45. The next competition will be on
Saturday, October 18th at Delsea Regional, HS.
Plymouth
Whitemarsh Competition: Congratulations to the Golden Rams Marching Band for
their first place finish at the Plymouth Whitemarsh Cavalcade of Bands
competition on Saturday October 4th. The band received a
score of 85.90 and also received the High Winds award.
